FORGET string lubricants like "Finger Ease" or "Fast Fret" for which you're paying a fortune  

If you're at a gig, just go to the catering / green room, pick a handful and rub your fingertips  (or wherever you need lubrication  ) with this stuff:

I think I discovered Rammstein's secret to the guitar sound, Stefan. It is adding track after track after track!

Two more tracks played an octave higher and WHAM, we come closer to the sound of doom.

I think I am gonna do this until I get like 100 guitar tracks... and then the universe will collapse.

We did that also 13 year ago. i played the rhythm guitar 4 times and the mixer put it on one track  

He said it sounds like Ramstein   

But he did not say that i have to play it an octave higher

Tip: When recording, dial in LESS distortion and do the "massiveness" via overdubs! Otherwise you'll get only "White Noise" The "life of Agony" thingy is a good example, a little mushy, if you ask me.
