The Fappening - serious question

I assume most of you are familiar with "the Fappening" aka "August 2014 celebrity photo leaks". No, I don't want any links

I got a serious question about this: Why      

Why would anyone make pictures/movies of themselves naked - especially while they're masturbating?
Is it in order to analyze (pun intended) these pictures later on to improve your technique?
Or to show them to your children when they're old enough? (remember: the Internet forgets NOTHING )
Or simple stupidity?
Or... what?

Any ideas?

1. I'd say some pics etc are ment for some other person(boyfriend, some married man they'd like to fck, what ever)
2. they want to have sexy pics of themselves before they get old fat and ugly (one reason will do)
3. they were drunk
4. I like to take nude pics of girls..usually it's quite easy to talk them into it

I have also experienced such a situation. Back in the days during the war in Libya, we had an exchange student from the USA in our school.

Well, whatever the reason is those dimwits made the pictures of themselves and uploaded them to the interwebs... in my opinion the person who hacked those pics works for "Kimberly-Clark".

It is just a huge publicity stunt to sell their product:
